Advantages
BENTONE GEL® VS-5PC V gives good dispersion and suspension of organic and inorganic sunscreen filters to improve stability. It has been seen to also act as a SPF booster.
Procedure
- Combine Phase A and heat to 75-80°C with a propeller mixer.
- Combine Phase B mix with a propeller mixing until uniform. Add to Phase A.
- Combine Phase C and add to Phase A/B. Heat to 75-80°C.
- Slowly add combined Phase D to Phase A/B/C with homogenizer and mix until uniform.
- Add Phase E at 45°C with homogenizer and mix until uniform.
- Cooling with mixing.
