Job Summary

This position will be scheduled to work various shifts depending on demand and coverage needs, shifts could be 8 to 12 hours and include weekends, holidays and overnights. The Production Supervisor accomplishes results by coaching, counseling, and leading the team. They plans, monitor, and appraise overall metrics and results. Also responsible for conducting training, implementing and enforcing processes and procedures.

Job Description

  • Assign, schedule, and check completion of all work
  • Review, collect, document and file all paperwork for the production department.
  • Ensure the safety of all personal and equipment.
  • Maintain and manage all inventory and ensure proper storage.
  • Comply with all company and site health and safety regulations/practices on site.
  • Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
  • Train and document production employees in job duties and safety regulations/practices.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor to establish strategies to meet workload on time.
  • All other duties assigned by Manager

What will it take

Experience:

  • 2 years in an industrial process/packaging facility

Special Requirements and Independency:

  • Must show great leadership skills.
  • Great organizational skills.
  • Be available to work overtime, weekends, off shifts and call outs when necessary.  
  • Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. (25 kgs.), stand, sit, walk, reach, stoop, squat, climb ladders, ramps & stairs, push and pull, reach at or below waist level and occasionally overhead, drive (forklift), hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds (machinery alarms). Must be able to wear respirator and any other necessary personal protective equipment.

*This position requires a fit for duty physical.

Salary Range

The base hiring range is between $85,330.55 - $104,292.90. In addition to hiring salary, compensation package may include additional components such as health benefits, life insurance, 401K, vacation and yearly bonus incentives.
