RHEOLATE® 2000
Organic compound Rheological additives for waterborne systems
RHEOLATE 2000 is a highly efficient, pourable liquid anti-settling additive for use in water-borne systems, including water-reducible alkyd, acrylic, epoxy and urethane resins systems.
RHEOLATE 2000 additive may be used in both industrial and consumer sales applications to prevent hard-packed settling. RHEOLATE 2000 provides superior pigment suspension at lower active additive levels than clay, cellulosic or conventional polymeric additives. Anti-settling properties are obtained with minimal mid-shear-range viscosity increase. Unlike conventional polymeric types, RHEOLATE 2000 performs independently of pH and is not sensitive to pH variations of water-reducible systems. However, care should be taken in systems of pH 6.0 or less. Because RHEOLATE 2000 does not build viscosity in the mid-to upper-shear-rate range, it is ideal for spray-applied systems.
