RHEOLATE® 244
Nonionic synthetic associative thickener (NiSAT) for waterborne systems
RHEOLATE 244 is a 25 % solids dispersion of a polyether urea polyurethane-based associative rheology modifier designed for use in water-borne paints, inks and adhesives containing small-particle-sized latexes and high-volume-solids systems. RHEOLATE 244 provides efficient thickening in the high-shear range (ICI viscosity) and improves mid-shear viscosity without the need for a secondary thickener.
Gloss and semi-gloss latex paints benefit from the more Newtonian flow obtained with RHEOLATE 244. Tint-base pigmented systems benefit from the improved colour acceptance and paint stability achieved with RHEOLATE 244.
