RHEOLATE® 266
Nonionic Synthetic Associative Thickener(NiSAT) for low to medium Shear viscosity builder in waterborne systems
RHEOLATE 266 is a nonionic synthetic associative thickener for waterborne systems is based on a new polyether urea polyurethane polymer. The activity has been engineered to provide highly efficient thickening at low- to medium-shear rates and shear-thinning viscosity. This is ideal for spray-applied or doctor-blade-applied systems such as industrial topcoats and primers; furniture and wood lacquers; maintenance paints; adhesives. RHEOLATE 266 is easy to incorporate and effectively thickens a broad range of waterborne dispersions and latexes. RHEOLATE 266 is an effective alternative to alkali swellable acrylics and is particularly valuable for use in coatings applied to pH-sensitive substrates, such as wood veneers. RHEOLATE 266 does not impair gloss and levelling.
