RHEOLATE® 300 D

Polyether Polyol-based Associative Rheology Modifier for Emulsion Paints and Other Waterborne Systems

GENERAL INFORMATION

RHEOLATE 300 D is a polyether polyol-based associative thickener for use in conventional emulsion and water-reducible systems.

RHEOLATE 300 D represents an alternative to traditional urethane-based thickeners. It is a non-ionic associative thickener designed to improve colour acceptance and stability, provide flow and levelling and overcome ancillary applications deficiencies by not impairing recoatability, intercoat adhesion and blocking resistance.

RHEOLATE 300 D raises viscosity mainly in the medium- to high-shear-rate region. Additionally, it imparts low-shear-rate viscosity, enhancing syneresis control, sag resistance and suspension. This reduces the need to use a co-thickener for low-shear-rate viscosity stability.
