Polyester putties are a versatile repair mixture, ideal for preparing surfaces by filling and smoothing imperfections prior to painting. Crafted from unsaturated polyester, these putties rely on our exceptional talc, known for promoting strong adhesion to various substrates like iron, steel, aluminum, fiberglass-reinforced plastic, and galvanized materials.
Our talc serves multiple technical functions, including creating barrier effects, reinforcing strength, establishing a firm bond with the substrate, and extending the mixture's pot life. It's also a cost-effective option compared to resin. The inclusion of low-viscosity impact talc in the recipe allows for more talc and less resin, achieving the desired consistency and performance of the putty while reducing costs.
